We are always looking for volunteers for our INReach Committe.  This committee works with the internal aspects of the Church and includes the following subcommittees: Finance Committee, Church Property, Stewardship Committee, Memorial Garden, Mutual Ministry and Communications Team.  All interests folks are invited to attend our next meeting.

Stewardship Committee

As God's children we are called to to serve and love our neighbors. We acknowledge that it is our job to steward the gifts from God. Stewardship may take place in time, talents, or generosity inside and outside of the church and our homes.

​​Memorial Garden

​The Christ’s Lutheran Memorial Garden has been a dream of the congregation for a long time.  It was finally realized in 2007 with the planting of trees and shrubbery along the back corner of our property behind the pavilion.  Construction of the memorial walkway and wall took place in the early summer of 2008.  The brick work and design were done by Dave Jankowski of D.J. Landscaping. The committee continually cares for the upkeep of the garden.
​The purpose of the memorial garden is twofold.  The first purpose is for the proper interment of the cremated remains of the deceased.  The second purpose is to provide a sacred space for meditation and reflection.

Church Property

This committee continuously works on repairing and updating various physical aspects of the church.  They also manage the use of the building throughout the year.

Mutual Ministry

The primary function of the Mutual Ministry Committee is to keep the pastor and staff advised about the conditions within the congregation and to interpret to the congregation the ministry of the professional leaders. This mutual ministry becomes specific in such ways as:

1. Open communication concerning the attitudes and conditions within the congregation,
2. Early warnings of misunderstanding within the congregation,
3. A “listening post” for the pastor, the lay professionals and the congregation,
4. Conflict resolution.

 
Other ongoing responsibilities of the committee are to conduct an annual review of all staff, provide salary/benefit recommendations to the Finance Committee and to maintain job descriptions for all staff.

Communications Team

The main task of the Communications Committee includes:  Chronicling the life of our congregation and its members through photographs, scrapbooks, and interviews of its members.  This also includes our church website and our presence on social media, including Facebook.

Finance Committee

This committee oversees all expenses and income of the church.  They continually report the financial state of the church.
